By Karen Hart

The Big Draw is all about connecting people of all ages through a love of drawing.

Held throughout the whole of October, and with over 200,000 people taking part, The Big Draw is all about connecting people of all ages with artists, museums, outdoor spaces and each other. The events are designed for those who love to draw, and those who think they can’t, and there are literally hundreds of drawing based activities being offered right throughout the event.

Since its launch in 2000, The Big Draw has successfully supported the Campaign for Drawing’s aims by encouraging people to try out their drawing skills, while highlighting the power of drawing to help people see, think, invent and take action.
