Shortlisted schools unveiled in X-FACTOR reading competition!

The schools in the 5-7 and 8-11 age categories have now been revealed and it’s time to get voting

The Celebrity-backed ‘Nobby Travels National Children’s Book Review’ competition that was launched by Blue Peter presenter, Matt Baker, on 20th February 2008 and that has been endorsed by Beverley Hughes MP, opens to the public vote on Sunday 1st June.

The schools that have been shortlisted in the competition are:

The public can vote for their favourite review/school all through June and on 1st July, two of the schools will win £1,000. The shortlisted schools will be notified on Monday (2nd June) and will be encouraged to drum up as much public support as possible as people can only cast one vote – so if they are to win they will need to get as many people as possible to vote for them.
