A training charity launches two brand new qualifications in childcare and education
New training for early years
The Council for Awards in Children’s Care and Education (CACHE) has launched two new level two and three qualifications in childcare and education. These are proposed to bring training up to date to reflect the new Early Years Foundation Stage which comes into force in September 2008.
The qualifications will also include optional units covering topics such as interational approaches to children’s learning and supporting children with English as an additional language.
CACHE Chief Excecutive, Richard Dorrance, said: ‘Both these qualifications support the aims of the children’s workforce development strategy, as they will ensure workers have the most up-to-date and appropriate skills and knowledge.’
