The last day of the BETT – and what a BETT Scholastic have had!
We have spent the week showing our brand-new digital learning resources at BETT. The reaction to Story Stage, Class PET and Percy Parker has been nothing short of fantastic; to see the highlights of those presentations take a look below.
We have met some amazing people this week, high amongst them are the fantastic teachers who have ‘taken over’ our stand. So our last highlights video of the week is dedicated to the incredible enthusiasm and dedication that every teacher that was part of TeachMeet Takeover!

We are three days into BETT 2010, and what a fun one it was too!
We had the full Percy Parker choir in to perform scenes from the musical. The incredibly talented group of pupils ensured that everyone turned to watch!
We then had the launch party for the Digital Learning Division – and what a party it was! Russ Payne and Tim Meek stood up to present Class PET and Story Stage.
Finally, we were lucky enough to play host again to the TeachMeet Takeover events on the stand. All of them were amazing, amusing and most definitely enthusing!

Today was the second day of BETT and we had an amazing time on the Scholastic stand (G40). As we did yesterday, we have made a video of our highlights for those who were not there and wished they were, and those who did make it and want to relive the best bits!
On the video is- the launch of the new format Child Education Plus
- We Are Writers and
- the three TeachMeet Takeover events that the Scholastic stand hosted today.

Not just one video today, but two! Here is the video of the pupils from Hurst Lodge School performing songs from our brand new musical Percy Parker. Tomorrow, we will have a whole class of pupils singing on the stand…we are certain to bring you that video too!

Our presentation schedule had a snow day today, with our Percy Parker choir stuck at school. However, we are hoping that tomorrow we will have a full complement of presentations for you!

Next week at BETT, Scholastic will be showing off our best and brightest e-learning resources. BETT 2010 starts on Wednesday 13th of January, with 30,000 visitors expected over four days. We are incredibly proud of the latest resources we are launching, so have pulled out all of the stops to ensure you get the most out of BETT – whether you can make it to the show or not!

Three of the amazing new resources that will be on our stand (G40) include:
- Class PET makes getting to grips with Assessing Pupils’ Progress easy! Packed with 100s of ready-made, high-quality electronic assessments it is accessible from school or home.
- Story Stage is an interactive and highly creative virtual puppet-based literacy resource, featuring ground-breaking multi-mouse functionality to enable groups of primary children to work simultaneously on a single PC.
- The very first Child Education Plus of 2010 has just been published and you will notice a big difference! A brand-new look with thousands of downloadable resources online – it is something not to be missed!
I know that BETT being a show in London, not everyone can attend which is why we will be doing something special this year.
