Editor of Nursery Education PLUS, Tracey Brand, introduces the ‘About me’ themed activities and offers more ideas for exploring the topic with your children:

“Learn a new rhyme with ‘Bears like honey’ and encourage your children to talk about all of their favourite things as they play this game together – it’s a lovely activity to encourage children to play independently too! Everyone can contribute to the ‘Raindrops and sunshine’ display and you could develop the theme by creating a rainbow of emotion expressions to overarch your children’s creations. Young children will love sharing their favourite toy and boasting about its attributes. Remember to take pictures and write captions to remind children of their comparisons.”
