Dav Pilkey’s books have always been a big hit – especially with reluctant boy readers. Find out how to use his books to enthuse children about writing
Dav Pilkey was born in 1966 in Ohio in the USA. At school he was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia, and that’s where he first created his character, Captain Underpants.
Dav’s new graphic novel, The Adventures of Ook and Gluk, Kung-Fu Cavemen from the Future (Scholastic, £8.99 HB) is out now.
