Help children to write concisely yet imaginatively, using postcards as a stimulus.

Learning objective: to explore the purpose of postcards and to practise writing appropriate text, using very few words.

You will need

Worksheet one and two a variety of old holiday postcards; used stamps; A5 card; felt-tipped pens or colouring pencils; writing pencils; sticky labels; a globe.
