It’s such a pleasure to be outside at this time of the year, free of coats and the clutter of winter, so get out there and enjoy these warm, sunny days

Build Stonehenge

Share pictures of Stonehenge with the children and talk about how it is constructed. Invite them to build their own Stonehenge construction with stones and pebbles. Discuss the problems of balance. Would a small creature be able to walk around inside their stone creation without it falling down on top of them? Test it using small sticks and stones to represent the creatures. Talk about how they can improve the structure
