British Science Week 2016 launches on Friday 11th March. It’s not too late to get involved! Why not start planning activities for your class with these brilliant resources.
There are thousands of exciting and interesting events taking place all over the UK. Here are some further ways to get involved, but don’t forget to keep checking the British Science Week website and social media sites for the most up to date information.
Start planning your classroom activities by registering your event now! All teachers who register between now and 10th March will be entered into a draw to win one of ten Educator memberships worth £25.
Download the FREE Spaces for Science: Science in Spaces Activity Packs! This year the theme focuses on five different spaces where science can be found and done. The poster competition also mirrors this theme. Don’t forget to check out the British Science Week quizzes as well.
Celebrate your involvement in British Science Week with the new Digital Badges. Students and teachers taking part in British Science Week can celebrate and record their involvement in a new way this year, through these Digital Badges. There are four badges for 2016: Participator, Creator, Champion and Arts Collaborator plus schools can include the arts collaborator badges in their Artsmark planning.
