What is Epiphany?
The word Epiphany means ‘manifestation’ or ‘showing’. For most of the Christian Church today, Epiphany takes place on 6 January each year. It is the celebration of all the manifestations of Jesus as the Messiah, particularly that witnessed by the Three Wise Men who came to Bethlehem. It is believed that these men had journeyed following a star in search of Christ, and that they symbolise the manifestation of Jesus to the Gentile (non-Jewish) world.

Twelfth Night information
This is a good way of finishing off Christmas, giving us the opportunity to spend some time looking back over Christmas. We are making an event of taking our tree down too, to link with traditions.
