The story of Noah and the Great Flood

God was angry with the people in his world. They were growing more and more unkind and behaving badly.

‘The world needs a fresh start,’ thought God, so He decided that He would send a great flood to wash everything away. God planned to save Noah, who was a good, kind man, and all his family, because He had a very special job for Noah to do.

‘You must build a boat,’ He told Noah, ‘and take on board it two of every kind of animal on earth.’
