A new children’s book, which highlights the importance of online safety, is now available free for schools and libraries to order.

O2, in conjunction with Childnet International, invited authors to submit proposals for a book that would inspire children to read for enjoyment, but also to encourage them to be smart and stay safe online. Children aged eight to 11 years old from schools in London, Surrey and Manchester were invited to select their favourite book from a shortlist of four: Who wnts 2 no? by Steve Barlow & Steve Skidmore was the winning title and will be published on 5 March 2009, World Book Day.

Who wnts 2 no? is a story about school friends Dud, Zip and Mouse, also known as the Cybernuts. Dud thinks he has found a foolproof way of getting rich quick. All he has to do is put his personal details online. What could possibly go wrong?

O2 are distributing free copies of Who wnts 2 no? to schools and libraries, along with a library poster and stickers sheet. Visit www.o2.com/thecybernuts to place an order.
