Two terrific interactive maths games to practise children’s multiplication skills and knowledge of square and prime numbers…
Games are a fun and effective way of improving children’s maths skills
Games are an integral part of children’s practical maths experience, providing a motivating context for them to explore concepts, develop subject knowledge and improve problem solving. They are also ideal talking frames for you to formatively assess children’s mental strategies and general maths well being.
These games are intended to encourage children to interact with maths and can be played on paper or onscreen using our subscriber-only interactive versions that also include further game-play ideas.
Aims: Derive and recall multiplication facts up to the nine times table, and the corresponding division facts.
