Using digit cards and simple notation to make a pattern of sound.

You will need

Percussion instruments (eg drums, tambourines, wood blocks, maracas) or instruments made from household objects (eg seed-filled cartons, spoons, up-turned plantpots); four sets of digit cards (0-5); whiteboard and markers; ‘Clapping patterns 1’ and ‘Clapping patterns 2’ activity sheets.
