Investigating the meaning of Sikh symbols

Sikhs have several symbols that represent their commitment to Sikhism and their devotion to God. They do not use artefacts to aid worship, but these symbols allow them to form a distinct identity.

The five Ks

Anyone who accepts the rules governing the Sikh community can take Amrit Chhakna and wear the five Ks as a symbol of their faith (see ‘Five ks’ sheet).
