How important are curriculum links for resources?

How important is it to you that Child Ed PLUS resources are linked to specific areas of the curriculum? For example: ‘KS2 – Ma3 1g: present and interpret solutions to problems.’

  1. 7% said This doesn’t affect me as my school doesn’t follow the National Curriculum.
  2. 7% said I prefer to choose how I use resources to cover areas of the curriculum
  3. 66% said It can be useful, especially when planning for core subjects.
  4. 20% said I think this sort of detail is essential.

The National Curriculum is very important because it teaches you the main and most important subjects.

In light of the Creative Curriculum , how about doing whole topic planning around a theme like you used to do years ago in Infant Projects, covering all subjects using the theme.
