At the hospital – interactive

The three pictures on the title page each represent a story about a different scenario at the hospital. Jacob’s story is about an appointment with the doctor at the Out patients ward. Tyler’s story focuses on what happens at Accident & Emergency, and staying overnight in the Children’s Ward. The paramedic takes you on a trip in his ambulance. If you are planning to use the interactive poster on a PC, use the mouse to click on the images and icons. If you are planning to use the poster on your interactive whiteboard, simply touch the interactive whiteboard or use an interactive whiteboard pen to touch the images and icons. This will enable you to follow each of the three stories. On entering each story, you will notice some arrows in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Use your mouse or touch/use an interactive whiteboard pen to navigate your way through each of the stories. You will automatically return to the main title page when the story is finished. Each picture within the three stories contains an interactive element for you and the children to enjoy. This includes text and sounds. To listen to the sounds, use your mouse to click on the appropriate sound icon, or touch/use an interactive whiteboard pen to touch the sound icon on the interactive whiteboard.
