Toys now and then (activity sheet)

Teachers’ notes: Ask the children to draw, or take photographs of, the toys in your class collection or toys that their parents or grandparents own. After labelling their picture, they can write an extended caption. Encourage them to include some detail about the toy’s history. Working in groups, encourage the children to place their completed sheets in order to create small timelines for display.
